Yeah. They very nearly ate my map too...luckily I was eyeing on that little bugger after it ate my airlines baggage tag.
66) An empty carton box fell off a truck, and a few deers tried to eat it.
67) Deer fight!!
68) Poor hubby trying to shirk off the deers while fending the ice-cream cone. Me and a group of Japanese ladies were standing in front of our hotel laughing so hard. haha!

88) The patterns on the umbrella only appears when the umbrella is wet. Cool!!
89) Grilled Oysters. Forgot how much, but apparently Miyajima is famous for their oysters too.
90) Waiting for train at Miyajimaguchi station. Heading for Hiroshima station.

Thx. I purchase the JR pass from JTB at Orchard ION basement. Costs around SGD434 (for the 7day pass) after conversion from Japanese Yen.

Remember, JR Pass is only available for purchase OUTSIDE Japan.
You buy the JR Pass voucher in Singapore before you head for Japan, then when you arrive at Japan, you bring the voucher to the major JR station's ticketing offices to exchange for your actual JR Pass.
Also, for those who are planning to roam around Japan on their own, this website is very VERY useful since it shows accurate train timings info.

their JR pass seems complicated. i got lost after reading for a while.
I'd recommend JR Japan Rail Pass, which is available for use nationwide, and it is available for use on board the normal Shinkansen (well, except the fastest range of "Nozomi" Shinkansen). Shinkansen = Bullet train.
There's other JR Passes like JR Hokkaido Pass which is only available for use within Hokkaido....and etc...but some other types of region rail passes don't allow rides on any type of Shinkansen. So you have to read the descriptions carefully before you buy.
Unless you are only planning on travelling around a particular region in Japan, otherwise, getting the main JR Japan Rail pass is the safest bet to get.

92) Tram driver giving directions to a passenger who just alighted. Passengers board trams from the rear door, and alights at the front door. We took this tram ride from Hiroshima station to the Atomic Bomb Dome station. Took about 15-20mins.

Japan's a nice place to visit. Though I've never been to this part of Japan, would like to visit it one day.
I was in Hakone, Yokohama & Tokyo end last year & had a great time there.

Thanks. You should try visiting Hokkaido and/or Kyoto next time. If you like to take travel photos, you will love Kyoto.
Esp in Autumn (Nov) time.I will be going Japan (again) in Nov. Travelling alone so more flexibility. Itinerary not planned yet though.

When I was there end last year, one group went up to Hokkaido n met up later again in Tokyo. They said it was very cold.
Ya, Japan is lovely. Too many nice places to visit. If you are going, whenever, try visiting Hakone.
Will try visiting japan again of have the chance. Just too many nice places to see.
