Yeah, I can wait also... today went there and brought a CF card. Thought I read somewhere there is a S5Pro at IT Show. Want to capture some photos and bring back CF to see... but walk until ankles sore can't find S5Pro.

i believe the price will drop indefinitely after few months...cos the price of tech never goes up.
however..if u dun need, dun buy lor...
there is no such things as the best time to buy... cos perhaps mayb there may b a s6pro coming in after 12 mths...then we think S6 better so wait for the s6 price to drop while the s5 is at $1800..
buy wat u think it is worth and if it fits into ur budget....

Yup. this shot is straight out of the camera. no pp. still not very familiar with the camera and so don;t know how to check whether there is noise reduction or not. From the details, it does appear some form of post processing has done on the shots. If don;t look at 100%, the photo appears sharp enough for my standard at ISO 1600. at least better than my D70. hee.. ;p
That's because Fujifilm booth is handled by SONG BROTHERS this yr. South Asia computer seems to give better competitive prices last yr.

Just got my 70-200mm F2.8 VR from John 3:16...
Taken in my yella' lit dinning hall, certainly not conducive for non-fuji cams.. hehe... No editting other than re-sizing and cropping.

Actually, I can't tell the difference between the 80-200mm f2.8 AFD and the 70-200 f2.8 VR AFS. Images shot from both lenses looks almost the same. Maybe some of you will disagree and claim that the 70-200 VR has better bokeh. Seriously, I have used both lenses and still don't see much differences.

Now is the perfect time to get the D200.

just hate the d200 battery life
it will be perfect if it can use the d200 battery
btw anyone can share the battery life of s5pro .. 1 battery shooting raw
