I'd prefer some integrated dust cleaning thingy instead.. give me peace of mind... hehehe...

I heard one fully-charged NP-150 is good for roughly 250 shots in RAW mode, screen preview turns off, not using VR and the built-in flash.

worst than d200? lolz

Yes. Due to larger file size, thus longer writing time.

Worse than my old D100 which can take about 350-400 images in RAW with a single EL-EN3.

Is there a hyper utiltiy software for S5 Pro n where can I get it?

how did u get it at $2600 when the show price is $2999? special deal for a certain few pple? den like that who get to buy it at $2600 and who shld be those unlucky guys that bought it at $2999?

Actually, I can't tell the difference between the 80-200mm f2.8 AFD and the 70-200 f2.8 VR AFS. Images shot from both lenses looks almost the same. Maybe some of you will disagree and claim that the 70-200 VR has better bokeh. Seriously, I have used both lenses and still don't see much differences.

Though the images got not much of a differences. But, the extra 10mm & VR will help in some ways you know. Is time for you to sell away the 80-200mm.:)
Anyway, I'm just kidding here & sorry for the unrelated OT.:what:

Ask Samuel/John 3:16 for a quote. Remember to ask what's included. U gotta compare like-for-like with the others.

So always ask around before plunging into this kind of digital stuff. You never know what prices you'll get. And don't do last minute purchase.
Do whatever necessary related homework or from the guidance from the people here also helps too. Cheers:)

Check around for good prices and compare. The prices qoute here is from reliable shop.
However purchased at the show is based on retail price plus the freebies.

nothing fishy...$2999 is official fuji retail price. street price varies...

$2999 is official. All dealers can lower their selling price or include any freebies at their own.

My 80-200mm has been with me for more than 10 years already. It has a good size and weight compared to 70-200 f2.8 VR. I am already an old man and will prefer a lighter load.

My dear "Senior Member", I paid cash $2,600 and therefore they agreed to sell me at $2,600.
Go to Song Brother at SimLim Sq and ask for the same price.
They can give u too... I hope that u can get ur S5Pro soon.

I think even at 100% (based on the pic you posted), the quality is already so much better as compared to previous version and other dslr.

thanks for posting.

Yup. this shot is straight out of the camera. no pp. still not very familiar with the camera and so don;t know how to check whether there is noise reduction or not. From the details, it does appear some form of post processing has done on the shots. If don;t look at 100%, the photo appears sharp enough for my standard at ISO 1600. at least better than my D70. hee.. ;p
