Wait lah my friend. A new Adobe Camera RAW plug-in will be available for download soon. I also got many RAW images from a display set at Cathay which I cannot be opened.
By the way, when you go back to work tomorrow, shoot some JPEGs lor.

Test shot in my room.. white room light and not very the bright, handheld using AF-S 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G DX IF-ED.. ISO 800.

Noticed the face detection is only for post captured, ie, to check the pictures only. Thought this feature is for focusing???

Speed is faster than the S3 Pro of course. However, when compared with the D200, I feel that it is a tad bit slower.

i dont have a d200 to compare but is slower in terms of writing?
anyway...i find the focusing much faster than s3pro.

Found this review comparing S3 Pro, S5 Pro, and D200.

In summary, S5 Pro is excellent in the dynamic range, but at the expense of fps, when set at maximum 400% (W2), it can shoot only 1.3fps. If set at normal 100%, it will reach at most 3fps and produces similar dynamics as D200.
S5 Pro performs better in noise than S3 Pro, and also has a few technical advantages like 1/3EV settings, etc.
S5 Pro seems to exhibit jagged diagonal lines while D200 seems to resolve better, maybe due to pixel differences.

After the excitment, the reason kicks in.
I wonder if at 2.7k the S5 is not overpriced? It does not bring any revolution ! Is the s5 that much different?
So many other otpions in other brands that perfoms not too badly compare to Fuji.
In other words, the S3 may be the one to buy nowadays.
When the S3 pro came out, it was so expensive that I happily kept my S2 pro.
The lobang seems to be the s2 pro that sells around 700 nowadays.
