i just called canon csc & was told that the s100 is currently not offered under the PP program? will only be available under the PP program next year.. how did u all manage to get the s100 thro PP? what's the PP price? thks!

Yes. At less not keep hoarding with the PPP issue.
To put it simply....
It seems like everyone is facing difficulty in requesting the PPP for S100.

Try this.

1) Email them your interest in the PPP for S100 at Canon.com.sg
2) Wait patiently for a call or reply through email.
3) Request with eagerness
4) Ask if you go down.....to customer service centre.... can you order.
5) Find a time, day and go visit them.
6) Bring along your faulty Canon compact camera. No need battery or charger, box, cables etc.
7) Just the camera, will do.
8) Reach there, take a queue number.
9) Ask the service staff about the PPP.
10) Say : This is a great offer, I been using Canon cameras for many years. This PPP will help me continue to pursue my passion for photography.
11) Forget about step 10.
12) Request that PPP, Get a service report form (blue color), trade your camera.
13) Now wait patiently....

Hope this helps those who are trying to get the PPP to work.

Oh really ah.. Can't wait to get my hands on one.. Just sold my S95, which is 100 cheaper when I sold my S90.. Yet the new list price of a S100 is higher than both.. Lol..

I don't know pal.. My wife owned it for 14 mths.. Less than 5k pic.. Lol.. Keep upgrading so the camera value to resell is there lor.. Sticking to s class cos size is good for her hand bag.. N I don't bring Dslr every where.. Hee.. But s90 resell value is better than s95 then.. Ha ha

I tried calling different shops before posting to this thread. Vendors will only tell you the RRP price of SG$699. They won't disclose the amount of discount they're giving. That's why I'm trying to find out here.

So is there anyone who can let me know the discounted price (from retail shops) which they pay for their S100??
