yup, purely this little trusty S5. haha. this moth was laying around at my mums flower bed. So i brought the flower bed down and use table lamp for light source since its at night. she's (being the moth not my mum :bsmilie:) laying eggs so it wont budge. Yep, supermacro. I still dont know why my macro one work. Supermacro FTW. I use P and AV modes and just trial and error.

Thanks for liking it. But someone really hates me for posting this.

aww thank you.
that’s great, hop in the S5 bandwagon!

Its really a great cam to start finding your forte. So by the time it outgrows you, it will be a great alternative cam.
Just experiment with stuffs, it can start from your house (macros and all), then your hdb architectural aspects of it, to the surrounding. Walk around. Expand your shooting area. It helps.

Secondly, learning and looking at other S-series users’ works is motivating. For me when i started out, I was very involved at deviantart and now Flickr. I viewed those photos featured taken with the S5 and ask questions on ways to get such a shot. This tremendously helped my craft. However, there have to be times when you must be independent and start learning on your own. That is the best time for personal growth. Do make a flickr account or something to store your photos, so critic and feedbacks can occur. Then, you can work things out

Goodluck!

go set up a flickr account, post your works there or here so we get to improve together.

and you must see the light first for your pics to be in the light okay? haha so head down to GOOGLE and find some good tips all across the web alrighty.

dun use sports mode the ISO is @ 800- will spoil the picture, sports mode needs alot of light- outdoors light......try using flash if u r indoor (that's wat i do with my dogs) actually outdoor will work too-the natural colors will still be there...if outdoor get the right angle of the sun.
