Shoot at f4 for the star effect.

hmm.. f4 at dat kind of shutter speed wun get much of a starburst yet.

hmm.. let me see. ur aperture arnd 3.5-5.6? dun see any starburst.. wif flash too? i like e way e little gal is standin dere.. although e exposure on her dress is nt too great. gifs meanin to e pic. esp. wif e caption.. wld be better if u had taken it frm a slightly lower perspective. one thin i learn in my course as well as through experience is dat when u take children at ur own height, it makes u seem like a giant.. e pic. wun look dat fantastic.

icic.. hahaz. yeahz.. ur cam. is new. so u're afraid of gettin it wet/ dirty.. mine has been in mud, water, etc.

Think I normally spend more time trying to think of an interesting title then shooting the actual photo.

Well, I try not to. Sometimes will do a bit of Levels. Maybe a bit of Healing Brush to touch up.

Or I do some heavy PSing, end up with stuff like this.

It is NTU. Taken from School of Biological Sciences. The Student Activity Centre is on the left, the Auditorium on the right. Actually wanted the scary effect, I have one that has warmer colours, does not have the same feel.

Nah, do not play with spiders. Actually do stuff like cell imaging and all. Will post my super super macro shots here someday, using stuff like 100X objectives. :bsmilie:

Not easy for local student to make it into local uni for PhD......think itz less than 20% of local PhD students in local Uni.

Someone wrote to the Straits Times forum "complaining" to the authority about this saying many of his friends cannot make it to local uni but was accepted into Ivy League colleges, like NYU, Harvard and Michigan. Does this means local uni better then them? U the can.
