Any Comment. Did some edit in PS.
nice try.. but ermz, tis composition doesnT really work for me. it's alittle too tight and i wld prefer seein e zebra at eye-level.. now it seems like u're much higher up.

saw the moon brightly in the sky tonight after the rain. Beautiful.

My first shot at the moon took about 20 shots.

This shot use onyl 12 times optical zoom. I have also use 48x zoom but image not that clear as this.

If i were to combine serveral pic, it will be clearer. CAn anyone advise me how to do it? can it be done in PS or need another software?

I normally use PS CS II HDR. It is under File/Automate/Merge to HDR. I have tried with 15X and 19X digital zoom. Crop the image and do a bit of USM. You got your white balance correct , lots of people shoot with a bit of a yellow cast.

Where are everyone elses moon shots? :)

Agree with NightZ88, it is a bit tight. Try shooting it in landscape mode, with the head of the Zebra a bit more to the middle & the body to the right. That way, you will have a sense of motion, with the zebra moving into the left of the picture. Also, the hoof has been cropped out a bit. The back of the zebra might be blown out a bit, white is normally difficult to shoot.
One reason why I do not have many animal shots posted, most of the time they are moving around & I cannot compose fast enough.

guys, if u're using a wide converter to shoot, do u have to preset any settings?

ahahaz.. i tend to use one fixed aperture dependin on wat effect i wan or e bokeh. u've to 'predict' their next movement and get ready to shoot once e composition is right..

nth edited abt. tis pic.. though i find e back too exposed and all. it's terribly difficult to get e exposure right of a white tiger under bright sunlight..
it's e moment dat i like abt. tis pic..

can anyone tell me if tis shot works for u? or is dere to much space at e top already? i myself find dat e composition is nt too gd..

I did not use any converter too.. find that the original lense already wide enough.. unless you want to take really wide pic.

There is an option. Click the Menu button, then find the Converter setting. Change it to WC-DC58A. Think this has more to do with the IS and focusing.

Do a slight levels adjusment (I tired it on the pic). A slight trangle of green will appear above the tiger. I like the way the branches make a 'roof' over its head. Composition is nice. The white of the tiget stands out very very well. I also like the gibblet of meat in its mouth! :bsmilie:
