Hey, how you tell sunrise from sunset on a pic har??:dunno:

hahaz.. wrong side. if sunrise gt parachuters den gd.. can take. but too early..
yeahz.. thx for e idea. i agree it's too bright and e orange is too 'bland'.. cld do wif PP. but i seldom edit my pics..

Sorry mine last pic is a sun rise .... haha i forgotten... I reckon not easy to compse a very good sunset or sun rise shoot.. cause the sun do rise and set quite fast... I was lucky that day cause i wake up early .. when i saw the view i run into the chalet to take my camera.. Just nice there was a couple seating admiring the sun rise.. .. I quite like the shot but i knw it isnt perfect..

Actually i did notice.. sun set the sun is more "red"..

O really? The last time I admire sunrise was in Malaysia. The last I admire sunset was in Ngee Ann Poly Library, 14yrs ago!

ANother thing how do i prevent the "red spot" at the bottom part of the photo?? acually i took 4 of this shots but this is the onl one less obvious "red spot"

How do i get a more rounded sun?? what setting must take note??:think:

Another sun rise pic

actualy i can use PS to remove the red spot below... but i prefer my photo un-PS.. cause more original and looking at the pic brings back memories:lovegrin:

ermz.. datz flare. direct sunlight wld cause flare.. unavoidable. so u muz try to be creative and use e flare to ur advantage..
sacrifice e light.. e sky will be underexposed. but e sun wld be rounder..

Typically why sunset pic is darker most of the time. so that the sun is brighter and more contrast will cause the sun to be rounder, I think.

The shots i took at P.Redang i using the 2800Zoom.. i also a fan for long zoom camera... I did got a canon 3 X optical zoom camera and i sell it afer a month... Not enough zoom.. Maybe cause i like to takes nature photo.. Zooming is useful
