Agreed, personally ricoh raw skintone, landscape vivid jpeg/raw, Fuji Velvia jpeg, oly jpeg works for me.
But where's Panasonic? :)

Panasonic has a long way to go before they can fully utilize their sensors at all.

Thanks to hjbyeo for suggested to use two filters in order to use Cokin P filters on CV 12mm m mount (with built on lens hood)

I tried and below here are my notes:
- no addtional vignette at all openings
- can only use the Cokin holder for wide angle therefore limted to one filter
- Square filter can be seen if tilted

I have not tested it on the field but will update if I found anything. Anyone can share too. :)

Why not? As a previous Ricoh user, I can guarantee you will only grow to love the handling more and more. If you have no overwhelming need for a feature that is not available on the GXR, I doubt you will be selling it off. I liked the GXR very much but sold mine only because I need the IBIS and high performance on EM-5 and only have budget to keep one camera at a time. I did take a long time to decide between those features and the ergonomic/handling on GXR.

Since you didn't point any weaknesses on the GXR which may stop you from buying and only concerned about its resale value , I assume you like the camera that much and should be less likely to sell it off. Don't see any thing wrong with that.

Had the same thought initially, to replace GXR with EM5 because need IBIS to tame long lens, but in the end the EM5 becomes an addition (credit to Wonglp for poisoning me in his thread :bsmilie:) instead of a replacement, love GXR too much ...too painful to sell...now hoping for fullframe M-mount!

huh really? i also kenna poison from this thread leh haha. dunno sell or dun sell, GXR+CV 12 combi is still stunningly compact and sharp (even smaller than any Pen+9-18mm). wait if FF really realized, then siao liao...

Tilt already can be seen? Hmm ... I cannot find another way with the m-mount version of this lens. My LTM version doesn't have this issue.

My suggestion is to bracket your landscape shots, but use ND8 (3 stop), ND106 (6 stop) to stop down the amount of light during those hours. Then all you can do is blend the exposures (Photoshop, etc). Square filters stacked with ND filters tend to have a lot of color casts on your pictures that's not easy to eradicate. So maybe using just ND filters (custom WB) will help.

Ya the filter can be seen cos it was fixed on the two stacked screw filters.

The other way maybe can use Cokin Z series or Hi tec or Lee filter system. It might be able to stack a few nd filters.

Or a step up? Hitech 85mm 10 stop nd gives me bad green cast and hard to correct with my limited pp skills. Ltm version requires an original voigt filter adapter which is 77mm. I used b+w screw on now, it's ok. Stacking as mention by hbjyeo would cause further cast, more you stack, worse the IQ gets too.

Speaking of which, I really need to show how I DIY the filter holder. Have been procrastinating. Best is we've a short gathering. How about Morning shoot this coming Saturday, and then TCSS during breakfast?

The first Ricoh meetup? Somewhere central will do? Let's just say even if we've got 4 - 5 attendees we just meet.

My materials for the DIY Filter holder for the Voigtlander 12mm -
1. Velcro straps (Mine's for tying up computer cables)
2. Army rubber bands (small size ones)
3. Step-up ring 52mm - whatever you like or whatever you have. I have a 58mm ND400, so I chose 58mm.

A show of hands who can go? LP, wanna start the ball rolling? Location - Let's say Merlion Park? Easiest since central?

Tentatively ok!keep ricoh love going!

I might be interested. Just need to know the timing.

I don't have the 12mm/5.6 though, only the 15mm.

thank you for asking! the handling is easy, picture quality is good daytime. nightime not good. need faster lense. overall daytime picture quality is excellent and file size is really huge! 16MP is more than enough for me! as you can see from my flickr, all of my pics are NEVER edited. good as it is!
Thanks for sharing, mind to share your user experince on A16 ?

how is the wire zoom ? how responsive and easy to zoom in out..?

I still can't convince myself to get A16 as it do not have focus ring, zoom ring and its not GR lens.. Hoping they cooking something worth in their next module or maybe a M mount GR lens like these below.. Wohooo!!! :)

Then it's good to test the difference yourself :) We can only show/say that much...anyways, 15 is a hot seller.

To start ball rolling, haven't posted for a while:
