Excellent shot!

FF is only a dream, not even hear rumors although I dun track rumors. & because of it's lensor design, GXR mount can potentially create a faster FF mirrorless "system" than any other by virtue of m lenses available. Hope dreams come true...:)

I would love it if Ricoh comes up with a 35mm sensor module with an appropriate body. It will definitely cure me of my 35mm sensor lust because I have been eyeing going to Nikon for a while, especially if the D600 is as affordable as the rumors claim.

FF version of the A12-M? really ar? then i gotta wait and start saving...

It's a wish that Ricoh will come up with 1. For sure a huge hit with M-mount users. Imagine the Voigtlander 12mm on it! Or the famed Zeiss Biogon 21mm on it. Seriously, it's really value for money (zeiss biogon versus the ZE version of the 21mm).

Ricoh, please hear us out ... we want 1! A built in VF will be really good too. And please allow a configurable NR, where we can set it to OFF when we use base ISO.

was considering Panny GX1 + 14mm f2.5 vs Ricoh GXR + 28mm f2.5
there is bigger 2nd market for m4/3 but I always like Ricoh color and GXR handling...

Another thing to add on is the camera does not get replaced every year and it still getting updates even just a few days ago. And when was this launched?? :)

GXR simply feels so good in your hands that I doubt you will be bothered with selling it. I sold mine only because I need EM5's IBIS and high ISO performance. After handling both, I feel that EM5 doesn't match up to the same level of ergonomics and handling as GXR. You won't regret getting GXR.

you sold yours and u doubt i will be bothered selling it ? does not sound convincing

Anyone have any idea why is it so hard to sell GXR, m mount away? Someone is going as low as 950$ and it's still not selling...
I bought mine for 740 Euro (= 1150$?) in Germany last month, new.

Why not? As a previous Ricoh user, I can guarantee you will only grow to love the handling more and more. If you have no overwhelming need for a feature that is not available on the GXR, I doubt you will be selling it off. I liked the GXR very much but sold mine only because I need the IBIS and high performance on EM-5 and only have budget to keep one camera at a time. I did take a long time to decide between those features and the ergonomic/handling on GXR.

Since you didn't point any weaknesses on the GXR which may stop you from buying and only concerned about its resale value , I assume you like the camera that much and should be less likely to sell it off. Don't see any thing wrong with that.

I get the message or i get the wrong message. those told me that I would love the GXR, they had sold their GXR.
haha.....

so far there are only 2 weakness that I am concern, i) ISO800 is useable, ISO1600 try to avoid, and ii) no IBIS.

no VF, slow AF is not my concern at all.

ISO 1600 is very nice in B/W, the noise is like film grain.

note : don't try with P10 or S10

ISO 1600 on the GXR APS-C is passable. Many of the concert shots I did were with the GXR at ISO1600.

The beauty with Ricoh is their colors. They are more or less comparable with Olympus, but their menu systems I swear is probably the easiest I have used, the second being Panasonic's.

agree...the color is unique. there are 3 brand that I like the color, rioch, fuji, olympus.
GXR menu, ergonomics, handling, is one of the best
