Hee...new GXR owner here. Will be looking to get the M Module eventually. But for now....the A12 28mm module seems to be working out great :)

I taken with GXR + A12 Mount + Nikkor H.c 1:2 f=5cm LTM

Indeed, lovepress. That's the beauty of this camera, and with several other mirrorless cameras as well.

Jupiter 9 (m42) on GXR....

Jupiter 9 wide open

Stopped down to 2.8

Ethereal feel wide open, sharp stopped down.
It's a keeper!

Wah ... I just saw this on an uncalibrated monitor and looks horrid with the blue! Is your monitor calibrated, and if not, how does it look???

For those guys who bought the A16 zoom, how much did you buy it for? I asked at AP and they said A16 price will be revised higher from next month onwards.

Another attempt on the Sunset of last Friday. GXR with 28mm:

Hi, try the vivid settings too for another feel ... ;-)

Hi Bro, will try it soon when the weather is nice. Nice talking to u on last Sat. :)

I just made another purchase and it was the M-mount module after I have bought GXR+28mm module a few months ago! Haha... A bit disappointed that I did not managed to get Voigtlander 15mm, then I decided to go for the 12mm instead. I love the focusing ring, its as smooth as Zeiss lenses. 2nd hiccup was I found there a few dusts on my sensor! Again I managed to blow it away with my trusty blower. Can't wait to bring it out to shoot in street!! :)

Indeed .... streets with the 12 is a lot of fun!

Hey Guys

I have two issues.

1. What firmware version is your A12 M-Mount module? From Ricoh Global website stated it was 1.50. But I cant update my module and my current firmware are 1.50 for body and 1.44 for module? Please advise whether my module is the latest firmware?

2. I experienced that when I turn the Aperture to f22 my LCD turns black... Is it normal? Cos I'm quite concern that I'm not able to see when shooting night scene.

I haven't update, so can't advice on 1. #2, yes, it normal. There's a quirk if you use Aperture mode, the slowest shutter speed is 1sec. If you change to Manual mode, you can set the speed longer and perhaps might see more. But if you use ND filters, it's very difficult sometimes impossible. There's a exposure meter on the bottom left when use manual mode, that will help a bit. Perhaps some other bros can add in their experience too.
