nice pics motionstills.

i knew they were light becos its magnesium alloy

Hope can visit Japan someday. Entire lens module made of magnesium alloy? Must hv a very solid feel to it. Wondering if the zooming action will suck in some dust over time.

I need to search the web for more examples of the A16 kit.

Anyways, the m-mount is still my main setup, and despite strong competition from the Fuji camp, I am sticking with Ricoh ... :p

Not one good shot today from GXR, haiz.:bsmilie:

Carpark 6 is overcrowded, so GXR cannot be blamed! :)

The whole stretch of waterway to the straits, and the pot was totally occupied by photographers. Cannot go on Saturday morning!

I'll watch out for your Oly shots instead.

I enjoyed the morning shoot too.. and I've to agree our cams are amongst the smallest out there in the crowd. ;-)

Just like Jack rushell, small dog with big brain & fierce sometime.

Nice sunrise shot bro.

Hi All,

I have just purchased the M-Mount and I have a Nokton 35/1.2 that I want to use. It currently has a UV/IR cut filter on it. My concern is that is it ok to leave the UV/IR filter attached to the Nokton using the M-Mount?

don't have experience with UV/IR ... Why not just shoot a few shots with it comparing it with its on n when it's not on?

Just sharing some shots with A16 24-85mm Zoom module.

It really feels good to have a zoom lens with AF for GXR. IQ is better than a12 28mm and a12 50mm except for Macro shots where a12 50mm excels however for M-Mount IQ may vary depending on the lens used but A16 has more bigger resolution. Focusing improved, faster compared to 50mm and slightly faster than 28mm. ISO also improved a lot compared to all existing modules. Handling feels balance and light weight although the lens looks big specially when zoom at 85mm. It also feels weird as the lens has no external control everything is controlled by the camera body - zoom and aperture but I did realize its easier that way rather than manually adjusting it on the lens. As for the aperture, its abit slow F3.5-5.5 for indoor shots you need to increase the ISO for faster shutter, for outdoors shots it should not be an issue. Best thing about this lens is that it has no AA filter so photos are sharper. The price would range from $580-$700.

Images below are unedited JPEG from the camera, either Natural or Standard color setup.

Below are the ISO comparison, ISO 336,800,1600,3200. ISO 3200 images are usable.

Some shots in Beijing streets to share, brought only GXR+A12M and some manual lens. Miss AF at times.
