Unfortunately, you can't join us... LP, here's another one which I've also posted in the Meet thread. I was rushing to catch the sunrise as I was late. The guys are already shooting at the jetty.

Since I got the GXR-M 2 months ago, I have been taking better pictures. MF forces one to slow down, think, recompose, camera holding techniques, adjust before shooting resulting in more interesting pictures. The colours and contrast are also very good.

Furthermore the no-AA filter sensor produces noise that looks like film grain - grainy yet sharp. My favourite films were the 800 and 1600 with the Ektapress 1600 a particular favourite during the film days. The GXR noise look real similar to the peppery grain of the 24x30" photos on my walls.

I just hope that Ricoh launches a new A16 M module soon while I dream of a FF M module.

Ya, me too. I am thinking they shd do exactly what Sony RX1 did --> A FF A24 M module or a FF A24 GR Lens 28mm f2 module, and it'll put Pentax/Ricoh back on the map!!! O Come ON!!!

I believe it is a Matter or time. Sony will be start selling the new FF sensor to Pentax/Ricoh. A FF with GR lens 28mm will be .....fantastic..

I am certainly craving for a FF compact, and hopefully with Ricoh. But I am surprised what a small sensor like S10 can do, just like what we see with istDes (Desmond) image of the hopper.

GXR + S10 module + Vivid settings (Auto-toned/Cropped in LR4) and resized in CS4

A FF GXR will give the Canons and Nikons a run for their money especially with a no-AA-filter sensor. With M mount lenses, it could produce IQ equivalent or even better than from the D800E !! It will probably even impact sales of the new Leica M10.

I am not sure if I like the rumours stated here. I don't mind having a 14mm in the mix, but 4/3 sensor, and that'll be in the premise of the current 28mm?

It may just be for the new GRD?
