Even though I just bought the GRD IV but knowing that Ricoh can now improve and squeeze an APS-C sensor and still retain a pocketable dimension is very exciting. The inclusion of video is nice to have though I don't know how useful it will be. Well, at least that can shut the mouth of those who keep picking on GRD for its mediocre video function. My money is ready![]()
Do we already know how pocketable it is? In the video it looks bigger than the Coolpix A.

Ricoh GRD IV: 108.6 x 59.8 x 32.5
Ricoh GRD V: 117 x 61 x 26.5 (lens extended 34.7)
Nikon Coolpix A: 111 x 64 x 40 mm
Looks like GRD V is longer than GRD IV while it grow by 2mm in height and thickness more or less the same. If GRD user said GRD IV is pocketable then I don't see why not for GRD V.![]()
Where did you see the GR dimensions? 26.5mm seems pretty thin.
In the video...
I like the "GR" in red!!
Looks pretty black to me.The new GR needs a special edition soon before I buy it.

Now I just need it in a nice color and I hope the build quality is better than the GRDIV, the lens is pretty flimsy and noisy.
