Great to see GR alive again in digital world !! i'm a great GR friend used to envy the GR1 owner in film era, bought a GR10 (full-automatic P&S) at 400+ then, love the camera till now, every time i take the photo with the 28mm lens frez thought i taken using SLR......
now tempting to get the GR digital after reading the tread....but the $$ set me back...
owning a Nikon D70 now....but occasionally still like to use my GR10 for fun shot...been selling 2x Nikon F80, Olympus Mju, Nikon lenses but never thought of letting my good old GR....

well, great to see more GRD fans.. the camera itself is great. I used to own the gr1v but regretted selling it as i made the switch to digital.. now that Ricoh made a digital version.. haha.. I guess u know what I did

Not sure what's their relationship....but ricoh is distributed by this company.
And yes, sigma stuff is pretty much all over their office as well.
luckily i currently don't face any problem with my one and only sigma lens.
i went there for grd problems as well.

What u mean ? :embrass: Actually the parts to replace the lens is 250 ,last time my friend also have to replace so i know it's about that much. I know that the lens is something wrong with it, but i dont think it is fungus , anyway,u know service center, they dont fix but replace the malfuntion parts therefore they just replace it and turn out fine. Prob is sometimes there explaination seem off to me since i take good care of my GRD and use quite often and the dot doesn't look like fungus to me. too bad i delete the old pics so can't show u.
