So exactly just how fast is the AF?

very very fast...... so fast that the reviewer passby both of yr threads

as mentioned, it just felt faster and this was from my earlier handling of the E-PL2 a few months back ...... apologies for no technically specific numbers on focus speeds, time to shutter actuation from full/half press for comparison .... I dont have the tools to capture this data for comparison

yeah, thats the problem sometimes with having a cam for barely a day ....... apologies, I didnt have time to do set up shots from base to max ISO nor a min. to max f-stop comparison

thanks for mentioning this ............ will check with Admin if they can get the cam back for a few days next week to do actual test shot comparisons

Thanks Simon for sharing Oly E-PL3 and E-P3 at SAM just now. I must say from a Pana G2 user perspective view, the new oly E-PL3 and E-p3 was much faster tat its predecessor. The AF is spot on, tracking is smooth. No to mention the new 12m lens. It feel is so good and the handling is good. Now I'm really considering whatever to let go my G2 and go for the E-P3 ....
