Review Samsung NX10

Greetings to all NX10 users....
Can I find out if there is an affordable (like $30-50) adapter for NX10 to use Canon FD lenses ?
I found the novoflex FD adapter for NX10... but $200 for an adapter is a bit er... er... wats the word... steep.

yup. I was travelling with my 2 year old kid. And sometimes, I pass by scenaries that is breathtaking but cannot stop due a highly irritable kid....

There was this farmhouse with a windy road leading to it and a huge snow cap mountain behind... and we just drove by it without stopping...

Looks like that the 20mm is slightly better built than 30mm. and the focus ring looks like rubber.

Yep, same noisy sensor that our wonderful NX10 sports.

Makes me wonder, if it's still the same noisy sensor we currently have in the NX10, how in the world did they manage to bump up the ISO to 6400 from 3200?

On a side note, Samsung has claimed that there will be a new, updated sensor coming out for the NX cameras in 2011. Lost the link to the news source though, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Hmmm I'm reall nt very impressed w d nx100 leh... Why they not add on d improvements on nx10 will do... Nx100 seems really aimed at women sbapper

Hope they hav firmware to upgrade d iso control of nx series... Plus really control d noise well.. Then upgrade more lens structure ESP it will really bring up nx series. The I fn lens system seems rather gimmickly leh

Not so expensive lah, at least if you base the amount on performance. Actually I could recommend 30mm on NX than buying 18-55 in the first place.

relax bro, different model caters to different users. but all in all NX100 is just a trimmed down version of our beautiful NX10.

Don't rely on firmware update on noise control. It's the limitation of the sensor itself. Use raw and you'll see ISO 1600 will be useable.

Aiyo...ISO 3200 on the NX sensor is already quite rubbish leh...in fact in low light when i shoot ISO 800 with flash (jpeg) can already see quite a nice amount of noise. And after brightening a little the file in GIMP the noise largi more awesome.

btw, i cannot shoot raw because Samsung's RAW converter does not support BSD-based operating systems. Sob sob :cry:

And if they release an NX10 Super, hopefully they can also release it with a fully electronic shutter instead of a mechanical one. You know, like the shutter found in the Konica Minolta A200. So that we all dun have to worry about shutter life on our precious NX10 anymore. :bsmilie:

Actually, I think they're also working on that GLOBAL SHUTTER.

brand new prices are dropping as well. some stores are already giving in less SGD800 with extra batteries. it's quite a good value :thumbsup:

I highly recommend you shoot RAW and post process. It's a nuisance, but the results will brighten your life for sure.
