Review of the Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25 mm f/1.4 ASPH Micro 4/3 Lens

Amazon JP is selling ard 51,000 yen which is about 810SGD. If SG can sell ard this price, its quite good.

Ouverture - any idea if it will come like early next week or late?

Disappointed with Panny SG - emailed them and they finally replied, saying that:

"As inform by our marketing department, any new product launch information will be published online and facebook. You may visit them to check out the latest launch and promotion."

Non reply...i cannot even find Panny SG FB. Anyone can share link?

Ok I'm going to feedback to the customer service for such an unprofessional reply

RRP is $899. Shops normally sell at around 10% lower which could be around $800

RCP is $949, not $899.

Shhh... Yes. Nice guy. Very helpful.

Hi guys, I am new to photography. Will I have any issues with using this prime lens on a G3 body? As in there is no IS when I shoot handheld... Will the pics turn out blur? Pardon me if it is a silly question.

not a silly question at all bro'

NO ..... under normal shooting conditions you will not get blurry photos IF you hold the camera steady ....... up until about 9-10 years ago, we've lived with no IS for the last 100 years

In order to avoid handshake/blur picture, I use the shutter speed rule , the inverse of the focal length as the minimum shutter speed
For example, Summilux 25 mm provides an effective range of 50mm. The slowest shutter (without IS) you should have , is at 1/50sec.

How come mod ed9119 everytime test lens in the temples.. Scare people with those stone sculptures.. :(
