i feel thread count to not aid into anything helpful and i feel lots of unwanted bandwidth/ clutter can be removed when thread count is not recorded.

The post count is useful to a certain extent to
a) alert us to new posters and
b) for new posters, they will want to monitor their post counts since they are restricted in some sections and privileges below a certain post count
