I figured this would be a much better place to ask than in the general forums.
Does anyone know of a thick, secure (safe and RELIABLE) strap I could use for a camera that weighs up to 10kg?
No fancy lugs or mounting hardware - just a simple adjustable loop design to slide onto a rail that's about 4" in diameter (The rail is X shaped with no sharp edges, and it's not circular). I would just tighten the loops and retention is provided by stop knobs that will not penetrate through the strap. The knobs will act as a physical obstruction to prevent the strap from sliding off.
I could make it out of 2" canvas webbing or leather and belt clasps, but I wanted to see what's available on the market first.
Any recommendations?
