Hi KT

Just read about your sad plight. Thought I better share with you my thoughts.

If you have the tape and the payment record of the suspects, I would strongly suggest that you rush all the information to the Police immediately. Find out who is the Investigating Officer and liaise directly with him/her to save time. Sometimes, it does not pay to be nice. If the couple concerned is innocent, I am sure they can explain/ prove themselves to the Police.

If you wait, the couple who took your gear will have enough time to hide/ sell them off and there may be inadequate evidence for the Police to prosecute them later, and almost no chance to find back your gear ever. It will be easier for the Police to catch them red-handed with the gear when they do not have enough time to dispose them.

Act fast, if you have not already done so.

Always look on the bright side of life.....whistle.....whistle........ No worries mate, unless the culprit took it out of Singapore. Then hard to say already.

Hi novello76, you know my heart is thinking, but after reading all comments from CSers here, I will pass the disc to the police.

The police will handle the case.
Hopefully. I will receive the outcome soon.

Just came back late from Cafe Cartel tonight at 10.45pm, take bath, check CS for comments and update.
Sengkang Police Station is just opposite my home.
I will be passing to them now.

Goodnite. My heart pain for you. :bheart: That is a whole lot of equipment. Maybe tonite my turn not to sleep. ;p

I hope you recover all your stuffs intact. Look on the bright side of things, many other interesting things for you to discover. Maybe its god's will that Canon will suit you better.

I hope you do not view this post as offensive. Its just my feeble attempt at trying to lighten things up.

Hope that this incident be brought to justice soon and that you will recover all your gear. Hope to see your camera - and a recharged KT - at the next KT outing! :)

Went to the Police Station just now to hand over the evidence.

The police check the date that I file the report and say that the officer in charge of my case is not around, will be back by 30th Nov 2000hrs.
Ask me to wait till then, and then they will pass the evidence to him.

I told him that it is urgent as time is a racing as the culpirt might sell away my stuff anytime.
So, I request if any of the officers can take over and look into the case asap.

They say each one of them handle different account, so I got to wait till the person in charge of my account to come back then he will follow up with the case.

So I now I have wait for another 20hrs before he can look into the case.

Is this the correct operation procedures ?

may the long arm of the law be swift

but you must know that your stuff are now evidence and you can only have them back once the case is closed.

Can anyone confirm this?

maybe u can call up to the headoffice and request for another officer to take over the case?

u r running with time.....

now, you already have the evidence in ur hand, and they should able to crack the case.
fast,

if they crack the case after the guy sold ur equitment,
nothing u can get back but only wish him merry christmas in jail....

fast.... bank will work hard too......
fast.... if u need 20 hour for another officer,
u might not know another 20 hour for the bank officer.....

call now to the headoffice and see if they can do anything.
or cancel the 1st report and lodge another complain to the on duty officer (i dun know if this work).

anyway..... u can see the cam now... the only thng u need to do it grab the time and get it back....

I'm glad to read that you've got the evidence bro! That guy is caught without knowing he's caught. You did what you have to do.
