Recommended memory card for A7R?

Ok... maybe I should ask this instead...

Is there any Sony A-Mount to Canon EF adapter, and full autofocus???

I do not think there is one as the flange distance difference between the 2 systems is only 0.5mm.

There are A-E and EF-E adapters with AF.

Was reading the topic of this thread as "Recommended Memory Card for A7R" and didn't see much around this topic for the last few pages.

So anyone using Sony's own ms card instead?

I don't follow Sony Rumor... if this is true... I will just wait further and see if they launched a new model by end of the year...

Sony sd card failed on me once, and my Frds on few occasions... So.... I sticked to my sandisk now.

Sandisk cards will still fail. Sony cards will also fail. Just because it fail on me, i am not going to use that brand and use other. But the same card you are using now fails on other people device le... then how???

Dun use camera with SD card lor. :)

It is luck also bah...... especially with electronics....

My 64GB Sandisk Card got corrupted end of last year too. Not the SD Card, but I used the microSD for my Note 3.

Lucky nothing critical in the card, so write off lah (didn't keep box and receipt).

So Sandisk is also not full proof...

i have a mixture of Sony MS and Sandisk SD cards. just backups now that i have to store 36MB RAW files ;)

Like I mentioned earlier, these also like lottery, and it is like luck...

I have no big issues with San Disk yet.... I have used a Toshiba that comes with the Pns, also ok... I have images that cannot read on SanDisk, when on camera, but ok when I load to PC...

But what I think is most important is not to keep too many cards, and just copy the images to the PC when you can... and at times, when I thought the card is acting funny... I will format the card...

I keep triple copies... 2 on my PC HD, and 1 external HD.... I DIY my pc... so I can get the configuration up to what I like... planning to go NAS next...

Between, A7R is MIJ right?
