i think until start family, i don't see a real need for car, unless OPC prices really come down. even then, it will only be used during weekends.. since i can't really shoot during weekdays.

actually come to think of it, maybe i can start shooting sunrise and sleep earlier everyday... can avoid the painful morning crowd going to work everyday.

i think car is only good for going ulu places... but when you think about the comparable alternative (i.e. to cab), it is still much cheaper. of course, getting to ulu places, also means must go back from there, which is one point for the car route... but singapore is relatively convenient already...

yah, sg is relatively convenient, in fact has one of the best public transport ssytem in the world lo.. Actuall the car we buy we hardly use aso except for weekend as i normally comute by bus to work (it wil be faster and much much cheaper!!! lol)

tell u wat, best is to buy property first la.. car in sg still a luxury item, its good to have but not a must have.. dun understand why SG got so many cars!! Adn u need it really when u start a family.. i am a very family orientated person, and enjoy family life and like to go out in big groups,tats why Car is a must for me..

Yeah, actually u shd lo.. ur work place and place u staying nw so central, but tink only can limit to central areas for sunrise, but there's still aplenty of unexplored areas.. Cannot go to those ulu places like Changi or Punggol for sunrise else u will be even late for work! (imagine the morning traffic) :bsmilie:

yah, but when it rains or peak hours then call cab also problem... the last time i went to a car launch at aviation park road... i called for 1+hr cannot get cab, somemore raining... i call limo service, willing to pay $8 more also cannot get cause no taxi wanna go all the way in.... luckily i got the limo service to get any cab and start the meter from wherever the are to come pick me up... otherwise i really stranded... :bsmilie:

buy car it seat in carpark also sucking my money dry while i sleeping lor... my leica seat in cabinet take up minimal electricity only..
