Working distance of MSN-202 with LX5 is around 3-5cm. Can probably reach up to 2:1 macro ratio.

You need to get the DMW-LA6 which is available from the LX5 Macro Package@$215.

Hi mcgill may i know wads e differences between 202 and 505 in terms of clarity, magnification, working distance and price? Does 505 fit lx5 too? Which is easier to focus?

Picture quality is similar, just that msn-505@$220 has +33 diopter compared to +25 diopter for msn-202@$155.

Msn-505 is not for beginners as focusing distance is very short. On order basis only as we do not keep stock of this lens normally.
