*starting to see the beauty of f/2.8 indoors :) *

Omg the contrast!! Is that SOOC?

I wished  Curious, under SOOC conditions, can get that effect meh? probably can, but my skills not there yet

Played with the curves/temperature/exposure...

Using LightRoom for adjustment..
- curves: lowered the values of shadows, lights and highlights (which explains alot of the noise you saw)
- temperature: pushed to 6300 from 4400
- exposure: +2.87
- contrast: pushed to 41 from 20
- saturation: Green, Aqua, Blue (adjusted the sliders)

SOOC *Sorry if I've burst any bubbles*

I noticed that when I'm with this little fella (my nephew), I tend to go full to 50mm wide open...not sure if should change to my 50 f/1.8prime when playing with him..

haha, ya...but so far, quite contented with the wide open shots...but I find shooting indoors with no flash (as I don't want to fire flash a baby) is quite difficult, as the room is only lit by a ring florescent light.

Ooo... hahaha

am single too

Will consider using the 50mm...It was in my cabi for the longest period of time...followed by my 10-22..

But If I want to switch to shooting parent + baby portrait, 50mm cannot lar... which is why my 17-50 still attached to the camera body..

Sigh, sometimes being single is abit lonely...

try to "work within the box" :) 50mm still can if you use your legs. even in a limited space, looks for a good spot within range.

don't worry, you're not alone. Welcome to the Sgt. Pepper and the Lonely Hearts Club :)

If working with adults, probably can lar, cos you can tell them to "squeeze" into the frame, the baby will give you a "huh?" look + "/Ignore" command :bsmilie: may attempt it when he understand what is "playing"

"Sgt. Pepper and the Lonely Hearts Club", sigh, seems that I will be holding this membership for now...hopefully not forever..

hahaha... adults not needed in shots, only babies looking at you as you click. LOL

Being married is no fun either. ROFL
