Hi Zul,
Wow... this is color power !! I love it!
If I take a shot something like this with all this colors, I definitely do ICM. he.. he..;)

#139 and #141 kicked ass. Simplicity at it's best.

Where exactly at east coast are they?

Thanks Manita..haha I didn't even think of that..I'm not so 'advance' lah heh

wow thanks or the compliment!..
#139 is just after where burger king/futsal courts are at..walk past by it towards the seafood restaurants/food centre and you won' miss it coz there'll be fishermen there

#140 this is after the jetty towards Tanah Merah. This is where the big carpark is.

hope that helps..

Love the color of the sky

no.3

Thanks for taking time to visit my thread :)

hi rooki3, i confess that i know that big pipe thing is in east coast, but i have never seen it before

any advice as to the exact location, and what sort of tide is optimal? thank you in advance.

Nice taken & nice meeting you. Cheers:thumbsup:

Thanks Sir! yes it is! It was a pleasure to meet the 'macro man' in person :)
Hope to see you again and join your macro outings when I have the right lens for it :)

Zul, beautiful colours in this one!

At first glance I thought the horizon was slightly tilted, but then again it could be some optical illusion caused by the vegetation. :sweatsm:

Hi nightmare, this is located near Carpark F2 after Bedok Jetty towards Tanah Merah. Once you hit the beach from the carpark, it'll be to your left.

I was there when the tide was fairly high. I believe the pipe will be almost submerged if it is at it's highest, so the optimal time to go is when the tide is coming in. Too low and there won't be much 'impact' I guess.

I hope that helps and I make sense here hehe..

Thanks Alvin!

It's an optical illusion hahaha..
This was a difficult one to check actually because of the vegetation and the reflection..even through my eyes it does look tilted but I did my best to have it levelled..maybe a more trained eye will know if it's tilted or not :)

Fine work mate!

Am visualizing the image in square crop to loose the negative space in the sky having same propotion of the sky and sea as same size. Also cropping the FG sand in the FG for better composition balance.

Too much square already...ha ha..

Yes I can visualise the square crop now that you have mentioned it. Definitely better! Too excited lah after I got the colours right for the first time. Too excited to 'showcase' the sky the sea and the sand also lol!!

Must compose myself next time when I encounter such breakthrough hehe..Thanks Thomas for the feedback and I'm glad you like it :)
