I prefer 135 to 136, though the exposure seems slightly unnatural. A tad too bright in the foreground.
In terms of composition, I like 136 more. hehehe I'm fickle I know...

wah bro, your processing beri POWER

Yeah..I 'dodged' too much in some areas in #135..
why not like both?! :bsmilie:

Ok2 lah bro..still learning, with the comments and tips from you and the rest in here.
And especially to a certain Herr Jonathan Danker who has been selflessly guiding me and showing me the finer points in processing all this while. I am still fine-tuning my processing. Still a long way to go la

Zul,

If you look at both, the shadow clipping is too overwhleming that you had lost details in it.

Assume these are bracketed shots and HDR treated images with SW - Photomatix, why not manual blending it to give more natural or what you really seeing on that shooting day.

I started off with HDR, a very 'louds' one :bsmilie:. But as time passes, I found the HDR sw defeats what we are actually seeing. Pushing the sliders will eventually leads to undesirable tones to it.

Just a thought and everyone has their own preference in treated the capture image.

Thomas

Hi Thomas. It does, doesn't it :embrass: .
Yup I used Photomatix for these bracketed shots but used it for exposure blending and furhter processed in Nik Color efex..I'm still figuring out how to control them to process my pic as natural as possible.I think I always overdid on the 'shadow' slider, and the midtones..

Yes I do prefer my pics to be 'natural' as possible with all the details and dynamics of what the eyes see at that moment. I will try to blend my pics manually more, if only my laptop can take my beatings hehe...

Thanks for the valuable feedback Thomas :)

I do like both, bro! Don't get me wrong :)
I prefer one over the other in certain aspects, that's all.

Hi, I really like your picture 76. Do you mind telling me where you took it? It's really good.
