Through reading your previous post #58, you wrote I supposely 'ask all to read up an article that's obviously written by some human-rights extremist'. Then further down the same post I quote this line, "do u violence to create havoc?" If the word 'U' is not in reference to me, then kindly use 'they' to indicate 'SOME' in future similiar sentences. Although I have to say the sentence 'do u violence to create havoc' leaves a lot to be intepreted.

And I am still wondering which is the article you find written by human-rights extremists.

i guess i missed a word,
that's 'need' between 'u' n 'violence'.
n after reading it again,
i still belief that its a question in rhetoric.
if u want to look at it otherwise,
like u say, everything 'leaves a lot to be intepreted'.

can only read 2 of them,
and find that they both leave a bitter aftertaste.
the way things r written in those articles,
eg. telling how hanging was used by which countries b4 the turn of the
century, hilter re-introduced it, blah blah blah,
r all very pretensious kind of fair comparison,
i used it all the time with my kids.
not telling u directly that its outdated,
barbaric nor unkind, yet leads u there nevertheless.

its only fair if they show on whom we used this method on.
the kind of destruction these pple caused.

there, i guessed i said my piece
and i hope u understand that i wasn't refering to u,
guesssed it was fatigue this morning.

As long as you refer to "them" and bash "their" bashing, you're not any different from "them".

As long as? You're insisting that i cannot comment about 'them'? Is this a personal attack at me? Can you teach me how to refer to 'them' then? Or i cannot refer to them at all? Who are you to tell me that i am not different from them? Can't i say anything regarding Mr Howards's comments? Cannot retort to my arguments and resort to personal attacks? Must i agree to everything? Are you the type that got bashed and keep quiet and sit in a corner and wimper? lol! I will not be talking to you then. :bsmilie:

I don't think the execution will damage ties between Australia and Singapore. The unreflected bashing of each other will.

Government level, it prob will not. US ignored SG for a period of time, regarding Michael Fay's canning. Hear them from the then PM Goh's mouth on TV. On personal level, it will affect some. Some of my SG friends living in Melbourne haven got an easy time.

sometimes makes everybody wonder... how come those empty vessels can affect countries... and the majority are quite densely ignored...

No, I have nothing against you. But look at it this way: this entire affair could be over, people would calm down, and life would go on. By getting so enraged about all this, one just perpetuates this episode. And if you turn it into a Singaporean vs. Aussie vendetta, that will only polarize more and damage international goodwill and mutual respect. In the end, everyone loses.

A lot of questions, so here are some chronological answers: Yes, but it requires that you open your mind. No. I am who I am. You can, but you shouldn't distort the things he said. No. No. No. Maybe you should talk to people who think differently, you will learn something new and useful.

Have a good night :).

lol! Mutual respect? Day dreaming on your part? One of their big shots (I forgot who) said we, SG disregarded and put them down when the request for death penalty was rejected. Are they trying to run SG?

I my comments was directed at what the Australian PM said. Did i get enrage? I was enraged by your last comment, thats all. But i did get my kicks thou. Thank you. :)

My mind was open, so open that i could take a dig at his and other ppl's comments. Yes, you are who you are and i respected that. Never a post before the one above was directed at you. I've already said that it was a stab at his comments and you still think i distort what he said? Maybe you should open your mind. It seems like you have difficulty understand my posts. I'm sorry for that and i promise to keep things simple in future.

And you are still trying to tell me what should i do?

Good night to you as well. :) Thats the end from me here.
