actually not all experiences are bad ; one trainee doing SOC was crossing the parallel bars, suddenly he felt someone supporting his buttocks up and he felt so light crossing that obstacles. :bsmilie:

but there was no one below those bars.. dunno where the invisible hands come from.

the " rangers " made them sing songs... and they were tricked into singing out their unit name ! all kenna duck walk round and round...

for us.. we are support units , we just sat inside the tent and watched in horror wide eyes open.

Wow... u just sit and watch? The few of us went out for a walk with friuts bar in our pocket to look for our officers and friends see if any of them were left ungaurded! we only manage to find one of the PC left ungaurded then we went over n shove the fruit bar into his mouth n we went away!:bsmilie:

wat's the topic on?

pulau tekong-true fact. tas the title.

pulau tekong is now used for military training. no?

the POW training is a fact n it took place on pulau tekong.

and since this is partially a military discussion, wherein lies the O.T? not forgetting this is KOPITIAM where members chitchat to let off steam after a hard day's work.

and we're still engaging in military discussion, some are mixed with paranormal activities that occurred during the course of our military service term.

if u've something personal against me, take it off topic. PM me.

otherwise, get on with ur life n let this thread continue.

Got nothing against.
Why so serious?

I was a PC during my NS days(ended up as Coy 2 i/c for the last 2 ICTs). During an exercise(1 PDF type) in Tekong my men and I had this interesting experience. It was like thursday night just before midnite(Malays believe Thurs nite is ghosts playtime!). A nice fragrant filled the tent we were in. My runner and medic and 2 other soldiers looked at each other and didnt say a word. After midnite, the fragrance turned into a strong stench! Suddenly all the guys in the tent became religious, reciting verses of any good Book they know! Nobody slept the whole night!
At another location, we experienced hair raising activities everytime we passed by it. It can really grip you!
Top of it all, while driving past somewhere near the Fibua or Cibua trg area, we saw a lady in white waving at us. The driver went like crazy and drove like he was going to win the 4WD GP!
The saddest experience was when I lost a silver chain my late grandma gave me while bathing in the old camp's showers. It just disappeared from the place I left it, which was like a few cms from me!
Tekong - a place where spirits and souls are left to wander!
