I don't think its far-fetched. It's not as if 'm implying all kids are irresponsible. Irresponsible is a general term. Being tardy can be irresponsible, malingering can be irresponsible. Point is what he did was irresponsible, that's it.

ALL kids?

Pardon me....

woah cool man.

Used to be from an 'elite' secondary school too. In the workforce, I have also experienced the heightened pressure from past and current part time employers. Any mistake you do is leveled more severely against you just because you are from 'so and so' sch.

roti_prata, though his actions are to be severely condoned, is suffering a similar backlash perhaps to such human reactions.

So what have I learnt during my work experiences which he can apply here?

Quoted from the best seller, How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie,

If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically.

Come on roti_prata, for once swallow your pride and boost our egos here, apologise. And then perhaps you can go on with life. A level's this yr right?

good luck :)
his A levels are next year, currently yr1 IIRC

Hehe.... this apology is more like justification leh.....
"I not leeching... I like the shot so sharing only..."

Then post cockpit shot which shot on 300mm lens..... ;p
"I do not wish to pass off those beautiful shots as being my own"

Errr.... but din say your crop factor is only 0.05x leh.... :bsmilie:
I think Rafflesians can come up with better maths leh....
Or standard drop liao... hahahaha

And so the drama unfolds.....;)
Be a man and admit your mistakes....

Teh Tarik! Dua kosong Satu Telor!:bsmilie:

Don't think any amount of account locking, photo deleting, post editing, or apology threads would undo his infridgement of copyrights, and falseful claims of being the photo owner. :nono:

Yeah...so solution? Never do this ever again or face the full force of the law.

Ok la guys, stop grilling him already. I think he has already stepped out and apologized , thats good enough. He is just a teenager, probably crapped his pants over the whole episode already, so maybe lets give him a chance la.

Seeing how you had cooked up so many stories about your photographic experiences about planes, you should have put more effort in formulating your apology. This simply shows your arrogance and indifference towards the whole issue, not to mention your lack of sincerity in offering your apology.

 ...roti_prata..pls say sth ;p
+1....tell u what...the spade will be my treat...i promise:D
good luck.."rafflesian"

No. Not all kids. Why would I want to shot myself in the foot? I was a kid once too.

Oh, sorry... misread your post.

To all:
Please do not, all because of a single person, change what you think of the school/organisation/race/religion, etc that he is connected with.
:)

So what if he is a Rafflesian. A student from a non-branded neighbourhood school has got better moral and ethics than our Pillsbury doughboy. More like a Rafflesia..... Stink!

:flame: can try new nick--> CHAO TA PRATA :bsmilie:

thanks syke.

because it wd be very unfair if u said all kids are irresponsible. as far as i know, only I am. haha. because i know i am not infallible, so I would always apologise most of the time.

Support the statement made by Newman.

threadstarter seems a little quiet don't you think?

JEEZ....the apology does not even sound sincere ... THE PRESS SHOULD GET TO KNOW ABOUT HIM .... DOESNT HE WANT TO BE A "HERO" ? ......we shall grant him that wish then

I reiterate again to all ROTI_PRATA wannabes..... LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL WHO INTENDS TO EMULATE HIM

dont ever believe 300mm can take WA shots ever again...ok im being so lame here:sweat:

Well:

A man reaps what he sows. We all have to live with the consequences of our actions.

"Your own conduct and actions have brought this upon you. This is your punishment. How bitter it is! How it pierces to the heart!" (quoted)

But also remember:

If any one of us is without any fault, let him be the first to throw a stone at him.

We all have our mistakes, we all tell lies at some stage or other, some of us may have taken credit for a job that is done mostly by others but just because we happen to be the project leader.

So:

Live and let live. Learn to forgive. I surely think that he will live with this nightmare for the rest of his life. Hopefully he can teach his children to never ever thread this path in their lives.
