I think the difference in price reflects the difference in capacity - the $34 version's capacity is 1700mAh, the $28.90 version's capacity is 1500mAh I think.

Got mine at $28.90 Eastgear 1700mAH at Info Comm as well. I find it quite strange that the NP-400 is selling cheaper outside as compared to the main distributor Eastgear...

U r lucky... I went Funan quite a few times since early Sep but nvr seem 2b able to get the Eastgear batts at ur price (& Inforcomm is always out of stock!). EastGear guy told me (juz 2 days ago) tt their 1700mAh batts has always been priced at $34.90, nvr less...

You guys can check out the shop next to Alan Photo at Funan Centre. The prices they quote are very good... $23 only for the yellow packagin 1500mAH NP400.
