be very certain that the extended warranty is from the co. that they claim it is from. in this instance, u're assuming that the extended warranty is from Nikon and not from Harvey Norman.

check clear first.

I am not sure of the D80 but my D70 from HN has extended warranty from NSC
confirmed by both HN and NSC

But the extended warranty does not cover sensor cleaning.
so FOC sensor cleaning is only for the original coverage and not the extended coverage.

Don't know have anyone else heard this quote..
"The main speciality of the D80 is not having any speciality".
But it is only what I heard from my local camera dealer.

btw my D70 is still under warranty you know

D70s can be had for lesser than S$1.3k used nowadays. many are selling in order to upgrade to the coming D80.

the price of the D80 can be found in the Nikon forum. there's rough gauge and it has been mentioned. do a search.

u can get a use D70 for $850. At the camera workshop.

i dunno wat's on offer at TCW, not tat i'm ever interested in, excelglsi brought my attention to a used D70 which is supposedly on sale at TCW when all this while i've been talking abt D70s being available in CS B/S for less than S$1.2k/.
