IT show might give you some freebies like tripod, extra cards and such but you pay SRP which is at least 200-300 extra compared to streetprice.

Furthermore, stock level might not be enough to last till then...

Cathay does not have stock for the kit lens so they recommended me to take the Carl Zeiss Lens with F 3.5 one..is it worth it? they keep telling me Carl Zeiss Lens
quailty very good....

At de same price as with de kit lens? De cz srp is 1.4k so if they offering at de same price consider as to buyer advantage. And also de extra 30mm focal length is useful too.

Hmm, i do realize they do not keep much stock of sony items... But then again this is only the second time where i asked for a quotation where they do not have stock in place...

I just got my A77 with kit from Juzz1 @ funan. Sadly no discount due to the flooding in Thailand , paid the full retail price for it!

call up MS Color. but i don't think the body only set is sold in singapore.

btw, start with the 18-55mm focal range first before deciding whether you would need an all-in-one lens.

Agreed. Optically 1855 performs same or better than 18250 for the same focal range and its a damn cheap backup lens when needed, good to keep as spare.

Are you shooting in HDR or high DRO?

Ideal card is the Sony HG memorystick, the 50mb/s one, unless you have lobang for the new 95mb/s Sandisk SD cards.

But the Class 10 SD card speed still lose the Sony Memory Stick leh
