Price for Sony A77 or A65 in Singapore and the best price to buy it

Just received a call from JB, my A65 is ready for collection...Yeah!

I just went to Sony store in Manila last Oct 7 and they don't sell A77 at the moment and have no price yet too.

Sony Phils just launched the a77 and a 65 yesterday. They gave a Sony booklet with the price in it. It will be avail in Sony stores end of oct.

Sony sgp has updated their website and A77 is there now. So we should see stock coming this or next week.

Can't find any of a77 update on the web...
At stores I do see the poster though..

Price is quite similar to every other countries for retail price.

I guess street price would be ard 2.5k.

Sony Singapore website stated a retail price of SGD2,699 with kit lens and inclusive of GST. Yes, I believe it is within the same price as in other countries.

Sitex is coming on Nov 24. I think I can wait and see if they have better deals for A77. Most likely they will drop the price for A55 like crazy just like what they did with A550 on last years IT show.

Or i may buy it early if street price offers 2.5K with good freebies. :)

My cam shop call me yesterday that my A77 with kit Len will in stock this coming sat. Woohoo

Hi deadlytoad, may I know your shop as I am very very very eager to get a unit this saturday too :) perhaps they have more stocks and can spare one for me.

Bro, sad to disappoint but for new launch, normally it does not come with good freebies. At sitex, they may throw in some useless freebies but you pay retail price.

Also, with the flood situation in thailand, i am not sure if next batch of stock is sufficient.
