Doubt anybody would go that far to get the D90 from, but for the benifit of information, the Nikon D90 body cost around 1.14 Million Korean Won in Seoul, South Korea. That's roughly 1720 SGD at the exchange rate

For that matter, http://www.price.com.hk is stating Body Only for HKD $7,200 for the D90, which works out to be SGD$1,338.48. D90 kit is going for $9,180 (SGD$ 1,706.56). SIngapore prices looks quite reasonable considering HK does not have GST component in their selling price.

Doubt anybody would go that far to get the D90 from, but for the benifit of information, the Nikon D90 body cost around 1.14 Million Korean Won in Seoul, South Korea. That's roughly 1720 SGD at the exchange rate

Hi, I just bought a D90 with 18-105 kit 2 days ago from Lords Camera in Lucky Plaza. I paid $1660 for the camera kit. Freebies include UV filter, screen protector, 4GB SD with card reader.

Noted from the box, it has a statement D90 (HK) 18-105 Kit. Does HK means it is a foreign set from Hong Kong (aka grey set)? Or HK is just a code. The kit comes with a warranty which clearly state the distributor is Nikon Singapore PTE LTD. Thanks for clarifying.

It's stated Nikon SG already.. the HK label questions has always been appearing in CS.. it isn't HK set, if it is, no point giving you the warranty card. Don't have to worry as long as you purchase it from an authorised dealer..

I don't know if its a good price or not but i actually didn't bargain for price as accidentally i saw it with my friend while we were discussing on the D90 itself lol
I know that the pre-order price from US was 1kUSD body only and 1.3kUSD for the kit 18-55VR a few month ago.
Anyone care to share the price they saw for the D90 either body only or kit

I'm new to photography. bought D90 last week
Got mine at $1700, 18-105VR kit with lowepro bag, plastic nikon tripod and 4GB card(normal ones, not those fast ones). havey norman.
I believe there are even better deals around, if u don't mind making a few calls.
and, of course, get a deal depending on what "freebies" u need/dont need too.
There was a thread previously on this. try doing a search.
