PQI 512MB and 1GB CF Cards Offer for CS Members

prices are $85 for 256mb and $165 for 512mb NETT.
The 6-1 reader is $25 not $30. I got one, quote by AP staff. if its $30, better buy the reader on 4th story, i saw the same readers going for $27. I ask got warrantly but there isn't on my card reader but it works!
NOTE the offer is for F1 cards but since 512mb run out they are pushing the Hi speed card. not sure about the speed but same quoted price as the F1 cards.
As for performance, i tried on my D30 a 256mb. Yes they do allow testing. Its marginally faster than my ridata 25x 256mb. Note D30 buffer only allowed shooting once the images are processed, so there is a difference in speed, writing speed.
As for AP sale staff, must see who you are dealing with. I do not talk to the short guy, not very friendly one. one or two of them are fine. Maybe its my luck, when i was there yesterday, one of their staff won 4d, so all mood very happy!

Thanks for confirming that the prices quoted are nett. Is the card reader you bought at $25, the PQI USB2.0 one?
Not worth getting the Hi Speed one if it's the same price as the F1 1GB, IMHO.
So must hope when I go there again next week, somebody kena 4D or Toto, best if I do to.:bsmilie:

I think to settle price dispute problems, it would be helpful if Jason Ho could provide a contact person in AP so that we all go to him when we want the card. That may help to eliminate the price fluctuation problems when approaching different people as well as helping AP give a consistent & reliable image to its customers in the face of such promotions.

Hi ppl....just wondering if anyone of you have problems with the 512mb F1 CF card....I bought it last Tues and so far it crashed out on me twice...twice I hvta format out the entire card....damn sianz man....already filled 50% of the card with pics...a little fustrating to see all your pics go down the drain....well...I suppose its better to find out it here in S'pore than when I bring the card all the way to the US in a couple of months time....
So how....anyone also face the same problem?...I'm using a C5050Z...
