Hey, may i know what's the advantage of shooting in RAW file instead of normal JPEG?
plus where do u guys learn all these cool tricks from X)
RAW allows you a much wider dynamic range and more detail retrieval, possibly up to +/- 2to3 stops without too much degradation and noise.
This basically means that you can shoot in darker/lighter places and still get decent shots. It also means that there is much more detail in the shot, rather than the 8bit JPEG can hold as that is heavily compressed to save space.
