I can take critique; just go look at my previous postings. If DP gives a good comment, I'll probably say thank you (and possibly remark that it was unusual for him to do so), but as it stands, he doesn't seem to be able to conduct himself civilly and often becomes unnecessarily antagonistic in his exchanges (a fact I think can be backed up by many others and his own postings). For me at least, if you behave like a jerk, you will be treated like. That should give other people incentive for being nice, no?
The picture wasn't to TL him; my reply to his comment was. I don't have anything against his C&C; just giving him a taste of his own medicine.
There is a difference between being a perfectionist and being anal; I am inclined to think that he belongs to the latter group.
The quarrel is between me and him; I don't recommend antagonizing people like him unless he comes step on your toes first.
Thank you for your compliment. I wish I had a wider lens or stepped back though; her head looks chopped off.
Frankly, I'm not so sure where the focal point is either. When I took the picture, I was just damn happy to have her fill my frame.
On closer inspection, the OOF is indeed a little disconcerting, but I blur most of my pics in PP anyway, so I left it at that.
I'm glad you liked the picture. The contradictions occur when you factor in another dimension to the composition of the image, and it has more to do with the interaction with her rather than the actual image itself. Those thoughts are personal, and I'm not sure if it's appropriate for the forum, so I left them out.
Flogging a dead horse there. :bsmilie: Just to clarify, do you mean that the image is out of focus, or that there is no focal point in the photo ?
You make it too easy.
edit: Oh, and watch your spelling? You seem to have a tendency to get incoherent when you get excited.
