Yo pop! been following your thread for some time now i'd say that all you've gotta do is to take your time before you snap a shot - for shots that allow time. Try to visualize what you hope to see being captured by the eye of your camera then capture it. Blindly shooting can be fun but a little 'boh-liao'... your pictures have been improving and you know, I could take that blur photoshop pic and make it look cool! hehehe~ I actually like that shot very much and I'll probably try something like that in the near future.

Don't lose your interest because I'm one of the many or few (i dont know) who check out your works as you post!

ParkertR, these have been the kindest words I have heard so far. *sniff* *sniff* They mean a lot to someone who really feels kind of inferior (as far as photography is concerned) and been very clueless lately on how to keep this going. I thought I would give up quite soon, really.

no prob bro~ u deserve the encouragement and affirmation! that's how we all improve!

abt PS and sharpening - use the unsharp mask tool, it gives you more control over the sharpening so that you don't oversharpen the picture (yes, it happens to pictures too, not just pencils!) and make it look 'plastic'.
