First check both Mini and Flex have the same Configuration/Channel CS1 or CS2.
If still see red.
Go into the utility software and check if they are set in the same channel.
Do a test without setting on the items on the camera or flashlight.
You should see green light if both are wirelessly link.

LPA Design launched new products for studio lightings. The PowerST4 Receiver for Elinchrom RX, as well as the AC9 AlienBees Adapter for most Paul C. Buff monolights and packs, enable the setting of flash output level from a camera-mounted PocketWizard MiniTT1 or FlexTT5.

Which means we can adjust the power of the studio lightings using Canon EX580II or AC3 ZoneController. Good thing it can do HyperSync and Rear Curtain Sync.

We can shoot subject at faster shutter speed.
