the first two were shot with the Sigma 105/2.8 macro. I am beginning to like that lens quite a bit.
Nice series you have on the Marina/Esplanade area :thumbsup:

We needed a Sigma lens, as we found that during the last dog show, the Sigma lens tends to perform better than the Tamron on K10D with Expo lighting. Many tends to under estimate Expo lighting thinking it's bright with those flood lights^^;
Reason likely due to light falloff, which made the Tamron lens appears darker (seems common in most Tamron I'd used). Though one can easily fix this with a stop of EV. But in a situation at f2.8, ISO1600 and the need of 1/125s, that one stop will make 1/125s to fall to 1/90s.
Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 is a nice lens, but when you push it in this lighting condition it's not as suitable. Tamron and Sigma are like choosing between sharpness or less noise, I choose lesser noise on K10D ISO1600.
Since Sigma 24-60mm f2.8 is only US$200 and said to be better than 28-70mm, it's only logical to get it.
Edit: I may go for Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 for the same recent, as I maybe doing more shots in Expo in years to come.^^; Personally I'll prefer Tamron.

did this some time ago... din turn out to be very good 
... more of experimenting... anyway its a good lesson learn after much self review and more research on the net... my water drops was not consistent and its falling at different position 
... my DIY bottle just doesn't work...like they say..nice attempt, but not good enough...oh well back to the drawing board...

If this is ur 1st it's a good attempt. Maybe try in the sink 1st. Did u mount the bottle onto something? If u want a slower droplet, try adding using kitchen towel to slow the droplets. This is my 1st setup back in my prosumer days;
