If this is ur 1st it's a good attempt. Maybe try in the sink 1st. Did u mount the bottle onto something? If u want a slower droplet, try adding using kitchen towel to slow the droplets. This is my 1st setup back in my prosumer days;

no sink... just a glass of water... i used my right hand holding and tilting the bottle with hole to drip and left hand press trigger,thats why i miss 99.99% of my shots :bsmilie:...anyway got time then i do a proper one...

did this some time ago... din turn out to be very good :(... more of experimenting... anyway its a good lesson learn after much self review and more research on the net... my water drops was not consistent and its falling at different position :confused:... my DIY bottle just doesn't work...like they say..nice attempt, but not good enough...oh well back to the drawing board...

Nice.

Tried to do this sometime ago after seeing longko's shot...I was 'hand like leg, leg like hand' trying to drop an ice into water and taking a shot. Think need an assistance to do this.

Nice try. Your focusing is there. Think you should work on your angle and play with DOF. IMHO, when you play with macro especially extreme macro, you'll need DOF so the whole photo don't look flat. Since your subject are closed together, you need to show a focus on the subject, isolating them with bokeh around is 1 way to do it. Sunflower centre consist of various colors, and you can try to take from an angle where the contrast stands out.

Anyway, just my worthless 2cents, hope it'll be of use to u^^
