finally found a use for the lens, as this little bug flew in and got stuck on the towel

Nice try garth. The kit lens is pretty good for closeups, especially for slightly bigger targets like flowers

denis, for a zoom lens i am amazed at the sharpness and the bokeh. too bad i tried your lens today without seeing the pic first. our lunch place today got a lot of dogs, you know!! :bsmilie:

n86m, yours is street photography and i am equally amazed your sharp eyes catches the dog! maybe you should take a pic of the lamp post "marked" by the dog so we will avoid it if we ever go to that part of the world!! :bsmilie:

thanks guys, the fisheye is really fun, and i hope i use it properly..

airconvent - i stood in the centre of the door.. waited for the train to arrive, then took the shot when the people started moving.. the headache about fisheye is that you have to make sure that there is minimal tilt.. you can't correct it later..

seefei - naw, it was walking around like it was king of the world.. i followed it around for 20 minutes until it went to hide from the sun underneath the magazine stand. :bsmilie:
