There was a terrific sunset at labrador Park yesterday..like a nuke test . I bracketed it but probably the ev separation was insufficient and the DR simply too much . I am not able to PP and render the scene correctly; anyway here is a first attempt from a single frame with a darkened foreground.




EDITOh great! On my laptop screen, there is very heavy highlight clipping, but my desktop monitor displays it just fine. Probably due to the different panel type.

I was out shooting a paintball event on Saturday. Went in the battlefield wearing a helmet, it was tough shooting when the camera viewfinder is 10cm away from my eyes. On On top of that I have to dodge flying paintballs. It was raining heavily in the beginning, but that didn't stop me with the K20D with the DA*50-135. At the end of each match the my cam and lens was soaking wet. Here are some of my favourite shots.

1/4000 still can't freeze the paintball flying off from the gun !
