So finally you got a DA21 for yourself ;) Nice shot, made me wanna buy one back :D

Nice shot creampuff. I'm sure you will like the versatility of the DA21.;)

:D ... you got the 21mm afterall! How do you like it? Really walkaround lens right!?

Hey, I don't even recall this looks like the March.. Is this the front?

Your composition of still-life (not sure if that's the word for it) never fails to amaze me.. Supposedly mundane items can just be brought to life... reminds me of zen photographs ...

denis - the lighting of the lime and pot is very intriguing. more than one flash?

This shot looks very zen to me^^

Thanks for the kind words guys.
I have been debating in my mind over the DA21 Limited for quite a while. I'm glad I got one because the focal length is super versatile and for the things I shoot that 0.2m min focusing distance is very useful. I think I ought to have got it much, much earlier. Lovely lens.

Bernard the shot is the front grille of the Nissan Latio. The shape of the grille caught my eye and I have to say the K20D WB did a great job on this shot straight from the camera.

The lime shot was a combination of window light as fill and a single strobe off camera as the main light. Very simple, anyone can do it.

Edit:
Sorry got mixed up on the image of the car. It is a March and not as titled.

Part of a collection of images that I'm assembling for a photo book that I'm doing.

creampuff, welcome to Club21 ! :) You really put the lens to work there. So far I have only used it for one Toy Exhibition and family snapshots...

Still waiting for all the stuff to do reverse macro to arrive :) So just play with Tamron 90mm for now.

Sorry I do not know what type of lotus is mine. Never been to Bishan park but hope to go there one of these days. Any idea when is the lotus blooming period at Bishan park?

It is a good lens. I should have got one much, much earlier. Very versatile.

gengh - nice work! how long have you being doing macro?

The K20D gives very delicate colours.

i like this pic! wat exposure did you use to capture the blurring of the clouds and stars in?

It's a long time 61s exposure, that's why the blurry clouds and star trails :)

And I agree, nice shot indeed.

After looking at this shot a few times I'm begining toe love the background^^

Thanks for the kind words. All credit goes to the camera.:)

Zoren, as Fengwei said, it's a 61 sec shot taken in Bulb mode. Like a fool, I took all the B mode shots using a sec timer and my finger as a 'remote' release cable.:bsmilie::sweat: I really need to get a remote cable release.

I wonder if it is possible to set long exposure greater than 30 sec using the interval shooting mode. Interval shooting is disabled in B mode.

I need to install pentax remote assistant and play around with it, to see if it's possible using a laptop as the remote release.

A couple more shots taken early yesterday morning. The originals are very soft, probably because at these very small apertures, diffraction effects are too strong.

Next time, I'll try it with the DA40, it's far better for night shots than the kit lens I.

Beautiful!
I really need to take my Sigma 105 out more often, I've barely used it since I bought it.;p

Thanks seefei! I got my Tamron 90mm slightly over a month ago I think. I've always been trying to get nice close-ups/macros with my other lenses, especially the Tamron 70-300mm, but not really successful. Really need proper macro lens/accessories to get good results. ;)
