This is nice. :) :thumbsup:

Thx bro^^

Wow! Those are close! Excellent macros. Do feel the light is abit harsh on some spots :think:

Ya they are. Due to glossy leaf surface and I'd yet get around to make a ideal diffuser for these sort of super macro^^; Working distance is only 5-9cm and the lens + diy macro filter length around 18-22cm^^; The quickiest way I know how is to use a black foam with a white line in the middle to act as flash extender.:bsmilie:

Edit: Just to give an idea of the magnification of DIY macro filter. insert is 100% cropped, the photo is resized of the original. the fruitfly is about 1cm long, body about 0.3-0.5 wide.

The FA 28-70mm AL f4 looks like a good lens^^ Nice kitty shot^^
This underrated lens gives a pretty good performance. Animals don't get spooked so easily by the small size so I've had quite a number of keepers shooting cats with this lens. I like the compact size and light weight and it is pretty cheap too. Yeah I like cheap stuff. :bsmilie:

So the new cam is in action already ;) Nice kitty :)
Yeah the camera is great. I seem to reach for this more than the K10D the last few days, maybe too familiar with the controls. I feel that the small tweaks over it's predecessor makes it an even better camera.

I'm pretty impressed by the WB performance.
Aiyoh, see pictures like these surely cannot help craving for the K20D. :sweat:

I find that range will be ideal for petography lor.. How is it compare with FA 35-70mm? Cheap doesn't mean bad;) I using FA 35-70mm to take dogs and ppl willing to pay if I take shots of their dogs^^;

Have not shoot film for years. Here's one from today with the K1000 + M50 F/1.7 and a roll of Kodak Gold 200. Developed by my regular photo shop.

I have the F 35-70mm as well as well as a Vivitar 35-70mm AF to compare with. Both the 35-70mm lenses have a close focus Macro setting which is pretty useful to shoot simple close-ups. However the FA 28-70mm goes a little wider. This is my second lens as I missed the small size after I sold off the first one and 70mm is pretty good for portraits, whether people or pets. I might settle for the DA 17-70mm eventually but it is physically a much bigger lens than either the 35-70mm or 28-70mm and it definitely will cost much more.

darrrrrrrrrr, it probably costs between US$80-100 used on eBay.

Last shot from my trusty K100D before it was sold. :cry:
