ahhh, infrared photography gives such tones, it looks about correct to me, still slightly off but nothing that shooting in raw won't correct (select the tree leaves as white point).. exposure is perfect too..
you won't actually get a blue sky right away, more like a yellowish/sepiaish/reddish toned sky.. would need to do channel swapping as stipulated
in this thread. as you can see there, the first picture is also not toned blue at first.
here i think the sun was not very strong, i.e. maybe it was covered by clouds, either that or the sky over at this side is very cloudy, so there are too many clouds to show a lot of tonal differences. generally very distinct clouds would look awesome in ir, when they are not then it will not look so nice and the colour will end up looking more like duotone than anything else
so anyways, i did some pp on the image
basically auto levels, channel swap, some shadow lifting, contrast adjustments and exposure/gamma adjustment (upwards).. conditions don't look very optimal for good ir.. but i think it would have looked very nice with the right sort of clouds present
