Here are a few pics taken while on holiday at Bintan Lagoon Resort over the weekend. All shot with Pentax K10D kit lens 18-55mm.

Comments and critiques are welcome.

Looks nicer than the last time I was there! I think it's partly 'cos I had rainy weather... :cry:

It looks that way... but it's strange 'cos the settings used when converting to jpg were exactly the same as for the 1st photo. Guess it's one of those aberrations. I quite like the angle though.

No la, I still think Pentax is worthwhile to follow... thats why I got my self a K10D

Probably another year before I consider the K20D... or if i win the lottery ... :bsmilie:

Those are very nice. I'm afraid most guys went there over the weekend were quite upset about the dull cloudy sky. You got lucky on that day

The cat's face is in the shadows... If we increase the exposure, the surrondings will be too bright. How do we typically take photos of such circumstances? Flash? Don't really want to agitate the cat.
