Nice and sharp , Dennis. I like the natural lighting too. None of that orangy tinge associated with indoor "warm" lighting. So this is what your dog really look like! I think he will sue you if he sees your avatar ;)

How's the MidAutumn day for you guys? Got moon cakes?

And I shot the moon just before went to sleep (K10D+FA300/4.5 handheld):

Thanks, he's a cute little fellow. Shooting a mostly black dog is in itself challenging, more so when he's in a brightly lit white tub because the camera's meter reading will likely be inconsistent due to the reflectance of the subject. Confirmed the camera's meter reading with a quick incident light reading with my Minolta Autometer VF. Exposure was spot on, didn't even need to adjust level or curves. The good thing was that tub acted as a natural reflector and opened up detail. No colour tint because... err it was natural daylight. :)

berry, nice pictures. The bees add a dynamic element to the flowers.
Your file size is pretty small, did you inadvertently resample it down? Your exif data is gone as well.

night86mare, ha, ha now we'll all going to be able to enjoy your tour of prominent London attractions! :) Nice shot.

Thanks, creampuff.
I have resample it to reduce the file size for the upload to the gallery, but the pics dun looks nice, try many times until I give up.
May I know how you all do it without loose much of the details?

That's a nice and interesting shot, Denis.

And seems you've been having alot fun with the Sigma 90 macro ;)

Well, I really hope I could go out and shoot like you guys sometimes. But nowadays I'm stuck at home with the two kids most time, especially during weekends  Sometimes I don't even know why I've got some great Pentax lenses idling in the dry cabinet all this time

Oh well, sometimes my daughter still likes playing with me even when I'm holding a camera:

But she gets tired of doing so just after several shots :(

Her little brother isn't helping at all (moving constantly, no keepers at all after some tries over the weekend ...).

.

Thanks, creampuff.

After post-processing in Photoshop, I would save maybe as a medium-res jpeg. If I wanted to make the file smaller, I would use Macromedia Fireworks MX to bring down the file size even more. It is excellent in optimising web graphics.

CS puts limits on the size of the jpeg you can upload to the gallery. You can use flickr, picasa or some other site to hold your images and link them here. The image size can be made a little bigger.

Just scan my first roll of film.
I have a problem/enquiry on MF 645 film scanning, would be great if anyone could help me.

Thanks in advanced!
